Over the past year, Multibase has been engaged in a major network upgrade in our data centre. This has involved a complete technical redesign, bringing the network to an unusually high standard of security.
While the Multibase hosting infrastructure has always been managed with a high level of security, we have taken this even further so that our network is now specifically designed to meet the onerous PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Association Data Security Standards). The design also includes relevant elements of the international standard ISO 27000.
For the technically minded, this is very exciting because it brings the network into compliance with the information security standards that are used for the protection of credit card data, providing all our customers with an extra level of security.
Our technical staff have been progressively migrating servers and other infrastructure into the new network, which is highly robust and capable of accommodating the projected growth in our customers' businesses.
The new network complies with industry best practice in areas such as documented procedures and business continuity planning.
