Multibase product and service prices At the end of each financial year, Multibase reviews prices of products and services, based on the March to March Sydney CPI which this year is 2.5%. For the financial year beginning 1 July 2009, our standard hourly technical services rate will be $162.50, an increase of just over 1.5%. Prices of products such as hosting and ecommerce will not rise, and in some cases will be reduced and include more features or allowances. Changes apply to the first renewal after 1 July. We value your business and in this difficult economic climate, we trust that you will understand that we need to make sure that we cover the cost of providing our services. This has involved a complete technical redesign, bringing the network to an unusually high standard of security. While the Multibase hosting infrastructure has always been managed with a high level of security, we have taken this even further so that our network is now specifically designed to meet the onerous PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Association Data Security Standards). The design also includes relevant elements of the international standard ISO 27000. For the technically minded, this is very exciting because it brings the network into compliance with the information security standards that are used for the protection of credit card data, providing all our customers with an extra level of security. Our technical staff have been progressively migrating servers and other infrastructure into the new network, which is highly robust and capable of accommodating the projected growth in our customers' businesses. The new network complies with industry best practice in areas such as documented procedures and business continuity planning.
