ePay is used by our merchants in a wide range of web applications in the course of their daily business. Some of these systems are built by our customers. If you choose this option, we provide comprehensive technical support. If you wish, Multibase can integrate ePay into your existing web site, install one of our pre-built solution frameworks that already include ePay, or build a completely new system for you.
CVC/CVV2
ePay supports CVC/CVV2 checking and reporting. The CVV2 is the extra security code printed on credit cards, aimed to ensure that the person conducting the transaction is in possession of the credit card.
rePay recurring payment system
Multibase’s rePay system enables customers to authorise recurring payments through your web site, or for merchants to set them up through ePay’s Merchant Administration Centre.

Foreign currency transactions
ePay can process transactions in currencies other than AUD, and ePay's merchant administration centre also reports in foreign currencies. The merchant needs a Foreign Currency bank account, into which funds will be settled. In such an account, a transactional account which enables you to hold foreign currency (in most marketable currencies), as well as making deposits and withdrawals as you require. The need for you to convert your currency is minimised.
3D Secure (Verified by Visa, Mastercard SecureCode)
ePay supports 3D-Secure (3 factor authentication, using a PIN number for Internet transactions). Some banks now require online merchants to use 3D-Secure (Visa's Verified by Visa, or Mastercard SecureCode). This aims to ensure that the person making the transaction is who they say they are.

Batch transaction processing
Organisations with thousands of recurring or other transactions collected offline (e.g. charities, subscription services) often manage their payments within their own network or use the old-fashioned offline systems which do not provide real-time authorisation. Multibase can provide rapid, secure batch processing of these transactions from your file. The file can be generated within your offline system.
Pre-authentication of transactions
ePay supports pre-authorisation, pre-auth settlement advice and pre-auth reversals through the API and the Merchant Administration Centre. This is useful if a merchant wishes to check that funds are available before supplying goods, within a quoting system, or to receive a customer’s transaction subject to being able to supply the product or service.
