System requirements
Requirements to use the ePay Virtual EFTPOS payment system are:
An Internet Merchant Account from any of the participating banks. Participating banks are: Commonwealth, Westpac, St George, Challenge, ANZ, Bank of Melbourne, NAB, Advance, BankSA, and Bankwest. The bank will charge a negotiated % transaction fee on each transaction, and may charge establishment and monthly service fees.
A web browser capable of displaying a secure page (40 bit or 128 bit SSL).
ePay’s Merchant Administration Centre, which offers the ability to process credit card transactions manually, provides a “virtual eftpos” facility, allowing merchants to perform manual transactions and refunds.
Includes initial setup, documentation, maintenance, and assistance with establishing a merchant account with your bank.
Fee includes Camtech Merchant Server software licemce. reasonable support, online manual payment and refund system, online transaction reporting and maintenance.
All transactions are logged and we provide real-time reports online, with the ability to generate a delimited file for download.
ePay does not store credit card numbers; they are passed directly through the payment gateway to the bank.
How it works
Log into ePay’s Merchant Administration Centre, and select the Manual Transaction section.
Perform transactions (captures), refunds, pre-auths and pre-auth settlements as required. Results are stored in the ePay database with other transactions.
Transaction prices
Transactions are sold in blocks of 500. Transactions do not expire. We notify you when you need to purchase more. Prices do not include GST.
