Because of the need to secure personal information, rePay is a sophisticated system with special hosting requirements. For all but the largest merchant, building a recurring payment system is uneconomic. Many years of paying rePay service fees will still be a fraction of the cost of building, hosting and managing your own system.
rePay is also an excellent solution if you are still manually processing recurring transactions through an EFTPOS machine or each month, or delivering paper forms to the bank. Several minutes for each transaction is required, and it is common to make data entry errors.
The rePay pricing model
rePay pricing is based on a modest annual service fee, and a transaction fee to cover usage of the system. Prices are matched to ePay pricing. Each payment passes through both systems, so the fee charged for each recurring payment processed consists of one ePay transaction and one rePay transaction.
rePay requires an Internet bank merchant account and an ePay account, for which other charges apply. See ePay pricing for more information.

rePay Transactions
ePay transactions are counted and charged separately and in addition to normal ePay transactions. A recurring payment transaction is therefore in total twice the price of an ePay transaction. Transactions do not expire.
To select an appropriate number of transactions to purchase:
Expected number of annual authorizations
X Expected frequency of recurrence per year
= Number of transactions recommended for purchase per year

ePay pricing
rePay processes its transactions through ePay, so both a rePay and an ePay account are required. More ePay information.
