What is a Growers Market?
Minimize

The Gloucester Farmers Market is a true growers market.

This means the produce offered for sale has been grown, raised or wild gathered by the stallholder.  Where 'value-added' products are offered for sale, such as soaps, sauces, olive oil or wine; the ingredients must be grown by the stallholder or substantially sourced from growers in the Gloucester region.

To ensure fresh produce of the highest quality, visits are made to our growers to confirm their certification, the products they produce and methods of production.

At a growers market, goods are never purchased for resale .. ..

So you can be assured of the freshest produce!
